Harvest/Holiday Fair
A cherished tradition at Grace Church is our annual fair. Certain years we've held it in the Fall, and called it a Harvest Fair. Other years we hold a Holiday Fair in December. Regardless of how we organize the theme, it's always a event to attend! We accept donated crafts to sell, & our Hospitality Committee prepares a luncheon menu for guests. with delicious items at a nominal fee.
It's a great fund-raiser for the church, providing fun (and funds), in the process. Many visitors and parishioners enjoy our usual attractions: tables of jewelry, knitted and crafted items, books, homemade applesauce, pastries, our Silent Auction - and our fabled luncheon soups.
People enjoy fellowship as well as shopping during our fair, visiting with parishioners and a variety of visitors and guests. Many bring along their friends, family and pets to join in the fun.
"Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other."
Romans 12:10 (NKJV)
In addition to crafts, we sell gently-used books, gift baskets and many other items suitable for gift-giving.
Many people enjoy luncheon with one of our delicious seasonal soups.
"He gives food to every creature. His love endures forever."
Psalm 136:25 (NIV)
"So whether you eat or drink
or whatever you do,
do it all for the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
