Prayers of the People

Let us pray without ceasing!

I ask your prayers for God’s people throughout the world;  For Justin, Archbishop of Canterbury, Michael, our presiding Bishop; Jeff and Laura, our Bishops; Charlie, Ellen and Bill, our priests; and for: Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries, Common Good Gardens, Old Saybrook Youth and Family Services, Early Head Start, the AA groups that meet at Grace Church, Boy Scout Troop 51, Patrick Dominguez and his church planting effort and Kateri Medical Services in Nigeria. In our Diocesan cycle of prayer we pray for St. Thomas’, New Haven; Trinity, New Haven; St. James, New London. And for clergy peer groups, and the Clergy Family Assistance Program. We pray for all bishops, priests and deacons.

I ask your prayers for peace; for goodwill among nations; and for the well-being of all people. I ask your prayers for all the first responders, medical professionals and scientists who continue to battle the pandemic.  We pray for those in the service of our country: Travis Board, Nathaniel Burnham, Todd Buroff, Tami Morgan, Adam Randle and Daniel Kronz. We pray for all who govern and hold authority in the nations of the world; for an end to racism; and for peace in Ukraine and Russia and all other areas where war and hostilities are occurring, and for God to touch the hearts of those who hate others created in His image. Pray for justice, peace, and wisdom.
